All Sales Are Final
Lucient Labs does not offer refunds or returns on any products once they have left our facility. The only exception is when shipping insurance was purchased at checkout, which covers transit damage, loss, or theft.
Why This Policy Exists
Research peptides are sensitive materials that require strict handling and storage conditions. Once a shipment leaves our facility, we can no longer verify:
Temperature Integrity
Whether the compound was exposed to temperatures outside the recommended range during or after delivery.
Storage Conditions
How the product was stored after delivery (light exposure, temperature, humidity).
Product Tampering
Whether the vial has been opened, reconstituted, or otherwise compromised.
Chain of Custody
Who has handled the product after it left our facility.
This policy exists to maintain product integrity for all customers and to comply with research material handling standards. We cannot resell any product that has left our facility.
Shipping Insurance Coverage
Shipping insurance is an optional add-on available at checkout. Customers who purchase insurance are covered for:
Transit Damage: Products damaged during shipping (broken vials, compromised seals, temperature excursions)
Lost Packages: Orders marked as delivered but never received, or lost in transit
Theft: Packages stolen after delivery (requires police report for orders over $500)
To file an insurance claim, contact us within 7 days of delivery (or expected delivery date for lost packages) with photos of any damage and your order number.
What Is NOT Covered (Even With Insurance)
Change of Mind: Ordering the wrong product, ordering too much, or no longer needing the items
Opened Products: Any vial with a broken seal or that has been reconstituted
Improper Storage: Degradation due to storage outside recommended conditions after delivery
Research Results: Products that do not produce expected research outcomes (batch variation is disclosed)
If You Decline Insurance
You accept full responsibility for your shipment once it leaves our facility.
By declining shipping insurance at checkout, you acknowledge that Lucient Labs cannot issue refunds or replacements for any reason—including transit damage, loss, or theft—once your order has shipped. The tracking information provided by FedEx will be considered proof of delivery.
Damaged Products on Arrival
If your order arrives with visible damage:
Document Immediately
Take clear photos of the packaging, any visible damage, and the product vials before opening. Do not discard any packaging.
Contact Us Within 48 Hours
Email support@lucientlabs.com with your order number, photos of the damage, and a description of what occurred.
Claim Processing
If you purchased insurance, we will process a replacement or refund within 5-7 business days of receiving your claim.
Wrong Item Received
If you receive an incorrect item due to our fulfillment error, contact us immediately at support@lucientlabs.com. We will:
- →Send the correct product via expedited shipping at our expense
- →Provide a prepaid return label for the incorrect item (if return is required)
- →Include a discount code for your next order as an apology for the error
This policy applies only to verified fulfillment errors on our part. Please verify your order confirmation email against what you received before contacting us.
Price Adjustments
We do not offer price adjustments or partial refunds if a product goes on sale after your purchase. If you find a lower price before your order ships, contact us and we may be able to cancel and re-order at the new price (subject to cancellation policy above).
